EDVOS (Eastern Domestic Violence Service) is the specialist family violence service in Melbourne’s eastern metropolitan region. EDVOS Education & Training was developed to broaden community understanding and consciousness of family violence. The program is not funded by the government therefore provides fee-based training to increase understanding of gendered nature of family violence and build capacity to recognise and respond appropriately. It is currently working with early childhood settings, schools, universities, aged care facilities and businesses to provide training opportunities.
