There’s a multitude of benefits in entering Manningham Business Excellence Awards, according to Igor Lavrin.
Dr Lavrin and Dr Sarah Lawrence have run Lavrin and Lawrence Orthodontics in Templestowe for 15 years, but winning last year’s Business of the Year gong boosted their local profile.
Dr Lavrin said winning the major title at the awards was down to a strong level of community engagement. “We are the major sponsor of the Doncaster and District Netball Association, we sponsor the Bulleen Boomers Junior Domestic Basketball competition, we support school fetes and more,” he said. ”We try to give back to the community we have been a part of for so many years.”
But Dr Lavrin said they wouldn’t be re-entering the Manningham Business Excellence Awards this year.
”We won in 2017, so we want someone else to win and gain so much from it. We will be going to the launch breakfast and the dinner again though,” he said.
“No matter where you get to, win or not, the process is fantastic in looking at your own business, your goals, and what you are achieving.”
